For my work, Energy Map for UMCP, I distributed a survey throughout the campus. Students, staff and faculty responded to questions like, “Where on campus do you feel most happy?, “Where do you go when you want to study quietly?”, “Have you ever had a supernatural experience on campus?”; etc. I drew a campus map with the survey results plotted in color-coded dots.

On the day of the opening, groups of student volunteers visited the sites of concentrated energy as indicated on the map. On these spots they created mandalas of their own design with colored sand.
